These are the terms for using Scopy. They are written in plain English on purpose. By creating an account or using Scopy, you agree to them. If anything is not clear, email support@scopy.help.
Scopy is a subscription service for restaurants, spas, salons, and clinics. It answers your customers on WhatsApp, takes bookings, and gives your team a shared app to manage conversations, reservations, and settings. Scopy is operated by SAI Prime LLC (United States), called “we” or “Scopy” below. “You” means the business that opens the account and the people it invites.
You must give accurate information when signing up, and keep access to your sign-in email safe. Anyone with that email can enter your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your invited staff do in it.
One account serves one business location. You can invite staff within your plan's limits.
You confirm you are at least 18 and allowed to act for the business you sign up.
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. No card is needed. During the trial Scopy works fully, with your real customers. When the trial ends, pick a plan to keep going. If you do not, the assistant stops answering but your data stays until you delete the account or we close it after prolonged inactivity, and we will email you first. One free trial per business.
Current prices are on the pricing section of our homepage. Plans differ by how many customer chats you need per month. Every plan is the full assistant.
Payment is by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly, and yearly gives you two months free. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime in the app. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time.
If we change a price, we will email you at least 30 days before it affects you.
If a payment fails repeatedly, we may pause the service until it is settled. We will warn you by email first.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your subscription in your country.
Plan sizes are based on customer chats. One customer over one day counts as one chat, however many messages they send. If you regularly exceed your plan, we will ask you to upgrade rather than cut you off mid-month.
Use Scopy for your real business conversations. No spam, no bulk unsolicited messages, nothing illegal, and nothing that breaks WhatsApp's own business rules. WhatsApp can restrict numbers that break its rules, and that is outside our control.
Customers may send photos in a chat, for example proof of payment. You must not use this to collect or send anything unlawful, and the business may remove any photo sent to it at any time.
You are responsible for the content you load into Scopy, such as menus, services, prices and policies, and for having the right to use your WhatsApp number.
Scopy's replies are generated automatically from the information you provide. It is built to say “I'm not sure” and hand over to your team rather than guess, but no automated system is perfect. Keep your information up to date, watch your inbox, and do not rely on Scopy alone for anything where a mistake could cause harm, for example medical advice, which Scopy does not give. You stay responsible for your business's commitments to your customers, including bookings Scopy takes on your behalf.
For your customers' personal data, you are the controller and Scopy is your processor: we process it only to run the service for you. The details, including our sub-processors, retention, and deletion, are in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms. Delete your account and this data is deleted with it.
The Scopy software, its design, and its name belong to us; these terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy or resell it. The content you load into Scopy, such as menus, services, prices, and photos, stays yours. You give us permission to use that content only to run the service for you, and you promise you have the right to share it.
If the content you load into Scopy, or the way you use the service, breaks the law or someone else's rights and that leads to a legal claim against us, you agree to cover the resulting costs and damages. This does not apply to problems caused by Scopy itself.
We aim to keep Scopy up around the clock and publish our live uptime at status.scopy.help, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Scopy also depends on services we do not control, WhatsApp above all. We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may improve or change features over time. If we ever remove something important, we will tell you in advance.
You can leave anytime: cancel your plan or delete the account in the app, under Settings, then Account. Deleting the account removes your business data.
We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the service, or leave bills unpaid, with email warning except in serious cases.
Either way, once an account is closed its business data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Scopy is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost bookings, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and email account owners at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Keeping your account after that means you accept the new terms. The current version is always at scopy.help/terms.
If a court finds one part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
These terms plus the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Scopy.
If we let something slide once, that does not waive the rule for later.
If Scopy's business is ever sold or restructured, we may transfer this agreement with it; your rights under it stay the same. You may not transfer your account without asking us.
